Hi
Not sure if this is the relevant forum to post this, if not, please let me know.
Is anyone else having trouble with browsing on the redesigned Netflix website and screen readers in general? The audio description page still works well enough, but the rest of the site is fairly challenging accessibility-wise. I'm wondering if anyone has found any work-arounds for browsing etc.
I find that one can use the tab-key to navigate listings, but it is somewhat inconsistent.
I've tested with VoiceOver on OS X, Jaws and NVDA in a virtual machine.
Best,
Malthe.

can't even get past profile selection
I was able to sign in to my Netflix account, but after that, I wasn't able to move past the screen where you can choose what profile to load. At this point, I'm seriously thinking about stopping my membership to Netflix.
Simply press VO + space in
Simply press VO + space in the name of the profile you want to login with.
Now each title appears as a group. Inside that groups you can find the show or movie information. To navigate them press tab. If VO only reads "group" press shift+tab and then tab again. It is a pain but it is what it is.
I can write them about that but all of you should do the same.
not using a mac
Hi, I'm using windows with jaws.
Update
Hi!
It would seem that netflix fixed, or maybe partially fixed, their website. I noticed a dramatic increase in accessibility this morning. Items now show up as links, and are browsable with normal navigation keys.
Sometimes one has to use the mouse cursor to click them, but on the whole the experience is much better!
Props to them for fixing things so fast.
Best regards,
Malthe.
