Removing audio devices from your mac

macOS & Mac Apps

Hi all,

I have an audio device that I cannot use on my mac called "MorphVOX Audio", from when I had a demo of MorphVOX Voice Changer. However, when I trashed the app, the audio device stayed put, and i can't removed it from the audio Midi setup utility, nor can I find it in the entensions folder. Is there a way to remove this device?

2. Find SBVirtualMic.kext and move that to the trash
3. Restart the computer.

On Catalina the file is called SBVirtualMic.driver and is located in /System/Volumes/Data/Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/HAL

I have the same problem and I cannot find the kext files in any of the directories.

The devices I want to remove are:

Movavi Sound Grabber and Apowersoft Audio Device.

Any clue how to fix this?
