Hi everyone, When I go to youtube.com on my mac in safari, when the page loads, I get stuck on the navigation bar at the top of the page. Voiceover said menu, and I can move up and down with the vo plus up and down arrows, to home, subscriptions etc, but I can't get out of the menu to read through the page, select headings, the search text box etc. Thanks in advance for any help. Hi
I too have this problem on several pages that I use for work.
I have found that by going to the Window menu in the Menu Bar and and selecting another window, the cursed Menu problem goes away. I can then Control Tab back to the problem Tab without incidence.
I did report this to Apple, who said they were unable to replicate it. It both heartens and saddens me that someone else is having the same problems.
For me, I only notice the problem when a website is opened by my Twitter Client. Don't know whether it is the same for you.

Hopefully, some clever clogs on this site has a better solution...

Hi,
Just do the VO+CMD+L for links, VO+CMD+H for headings, etc. or you can use the caps lock key as the VO modifier and the standard VO keys to get out of that menu.
HTH, and just noticed this.

I can't say I have ever had this issue and I access youtube from my mac every day!

Not sure if this is relevant to your issue, but in Safari page for YouTube Voice-Over keeps saying: "Subscribe, Subscribe, Subscribe, Subscribe." That goes on for something around seven seconds and have not been able to tell Apple how to re-produce it.

What I do is stop interacting with everything when I can use my heading keys to move around. This is a youtube problem not a safari problem in my humble opinion.

agreed. That's exactly what I am currently doing. I've honestly been using youtube on chrome browser.
