Hi,
I'm looking to set up screen sharing on my Mac,. I've manage to set it up in system preferences, so that users can ask me for permission to share my screen. I also enable Bonjour in the accounts section i n messages preferences.
I have all the correct options checked in the video menu in the messages menu bar. However, the buttons to request to share someone's screen are still dimmed. Is there anything I can do to help with this?

I think tye yprobably have to
I think tye yprobably have to do the same on their end. Unfortunitally You might not hear sound. I' actually looking for somethingn simple for training purposes so I can hear their speach and demo somethingn on their computer then watch them do it. If somethingn like screen sharing, or if the screen sharing can do this, that would be good.
Take care
Yes
Yes you need the other person to enable it, which is complicated if the reason you wanna screen share is because they're not very good with technology. But you both also need an account other than bonjour and I message, an email account would work. You have to keep the other account, such as email or Facebook chat or any other messaging service active, but if you don't want to receive messages on it you can keep yourself offline. As for VoiceOver coming out of the other person's computer, that's still a mystery. I've tried messing with the audio devices and I even downloaded the soundflower, a thing which lets me record my VoiceOver in quick time, and sadly it didn't work.
