Seeking A Wordprocessor for Long Documents On the Mac

Hi all!
I am looking for a word processor that will let me easily navigate very lengthy docs on the Mac. I've used Pages until now, but recently I've found it difficult/annoying/impossible to do what I need to do. I have a 75000 word draft of a novel that I've exported from Scrivener for editing, and I really need the ability to bookmark chapter headings, make comments and notes, and select big blocks of text. I've used Kurzweil 1000 on Windows for years, and would really love something similar to that. MS Word would be good, but I hear the Mac version is not accessible? If Voice Dream Writer would just come to the Mac it would solve all my problems! Thanks in advance for the feedback! :)
