Hi,
Just noticed this.
According to the user guide:
Option, Use insertion point wrap, column 1
Description, If you type something thatβs too long to fit on the current braille line, the braille display is cleared and the insertion point moves to a new line. This option is selected by default., column 2
Deselect this option if you donβt want to clear the braille display when you type past it. The insertion point stays at the end of the line, and you can easily check what you just typed without needing to pan back.
This behaviour has been frustrating me for a long time and I have just understood (apparently) why I wasn't able to toggle it off.
I no longer have the Sequoia partition to see if this was the case there too, so your feedback is welcomed.
Also am I the only one concerned about how we are not getting the most useful braille features on the mac? Like the use underline cursor option, the unassigned command to reconnect bluetooth braille display we got in ios 18, the selection controls, and especially the newe overview mode?
Thanks.
