Using your iOS device as a microphone for your Mac

macOS and Mac Apps

Hi, Sean here. I'm wondering if anyone knows if there's anyway that I can use my iOS device as an input device for my Mac. I'm wanting to use it as the microphone for my Mac. I'm not sure, but I think you can do this with GarageBand. If that is so, please let me know. Also, please let me know if there are any other ways or apps that I can use my iOS device as a mic for my mac. I know this is quite off topic from the current discussion, but I'm wondering if anyone knows of any audio tutorials or books that can get me started with using GarageBand for the Mac? I'm wanting to record music. I finally was able to get my keyboard working with GarageBand. Thanks a lot for both questions.
