Hello.
I recently installed a windows 11 vm on my m1 macbook pro from 2020. This vm was set up as new and was not transfered from any other computer.
However, I am having a problem which I am hoping to find a solution to.
I have a mechanical razer blackwidow v3 pro keyboard I would like to use with the windows vm exclusively. When I plug the keyboard into my mac, either via USB or Via the wireless dongle, vmware doesn't confirm it was connected and does not ask me where I would like to connect the keyboard to. Though the keyboard does work in the sense that I can use it with both operating systems at the same time, I would really like to use it exclusively for windows. That way, any commands I execute will not have the chance of also being executed on the mac as well. I currently have to turn voice over off whenever I am using the keyboard to prevent things like this from happening.
If anyone could help, it would be most appreciated.
I should also note that all other USB devices seem to be passed through to windows just fine whenever I connect them to the mac, so it's not a usb issue.

Unfortunately This Is By Design
Keyboards and pointing devices are recognised as such and get passed on to the host. I don't recall any way to change this; it's certainly not possible in the UI. That doesn't mean there is no way and I'd try Googling for any information, probably a tweak to your VM's vmx configuration file. It is unfortunate, sorry I can't be of more help, but it's not a bug from Fusion's perspective. It would be a great feature to have though.
