VoiceOver in new MacOS not working well with Chrome and Discord – any workarounds?

Hi all,

Since updating to the new MacOS, VoiceOver doesn't work well with Chrome, it often is not responding on things like Gmail. Also, it is reading messages multiple times when using VO+left/right on Discord.

Has anyone else experienced this? Any workarounds?

I don't have any issues. with discord, or other chromium based stuff.
