VoiceOver with Safari problem

By Luc Antonissen, 15 August, 2017

Hi all

completely new at Applevis forum.... We, or better, my girlfriend is using VoiceOver for a couple of years. When browsing on the web she always starts at the same way:
VO+D to get on the dock
Select Safari
Open safari
Press COMMAND+L to get on the "open location"
since a couple of days, the problem occurs, after she selects COMMAND+L, that she can't type any text in the "open location" bar. When we putt off the voice over everything works normal.

Anyone who has already the same issue? It’s probably just a VoiceOver command that blocks this window but unfortunately, we can't find the solution :-(

Hope someone can get us some help.

Thx!!

Hello,Make sure quick nav is off when going to the navigation bar. You press the left and right arrow keys at the same time to turn it off or on.Regards,Greg Wocher
