Hello Apple Vis,
Does anyone have any recommendations or suggestions for an app, or piece of software that is useful for cleaning your mac. I’ve used App cleaner and it cleaners the apps, and their extra files, but I’m looking for something like AVG Cleaner. My luck with AVG Cleaner it’s not working. At least functionality isn’t working. I’m able to scroll around and see the widget, but I get a ding when I click. Therefore nothing happens.
Would anyone have any app suggestions that are good and can clean out a mac.
Chuck

CCleaner is not in the app store but, it is usable with Voice Over. I have it on my Mack. The site is a bit of a pain to use but, it is accessible.

Hi. Spend the 20 bucks on a great piece of software, it does everything from cleaning apps, to trashing files, to shredding others, getting rid of phot junk itunes backups, and that's just the tip of the iceberg. www.macpaw.com I think, just google clean my mac. very acessible. enter starts a task, say system clean, enter again when you have to clean what it finds. It runs maitenance scripts, and it does a sound when things finish, so you don't have to constantly check. The items are grouped into a table. Hope that helps.

Try "clean my mac" I think they are up to version 3. It rocks and I've ben using it now for about 3 years now.

I tried Clean my mac. I thought it was pretty cool. I'll definitely get it then. The AVG cleaner is nice, but my issues i had was the controls were not responding. Doctor cleaner works pretty well too, but it's draw back is its lack of button labeling. I sent an email requesting them to label their buttons, but that was last week. So it's still to early to tell.
maybe you guys cna also request it, because the more people request it, the likely it could happen.

Hey all.

I tried CleanMyMac and it seems that the app deletes my Infovox iVox voice licenses. THe odd thing is that nothing works to re-register the voices but removing all the voices and reinstalling them along with the app itself. Any idea what might be causing this?
