VOIP Software

macOS and Mac Apps

Any recommendations on session-initiated protocol (SIP) voice-over-IP (VOIP) software for OS X? Unfortunately, the try-before-you-buy mode of app purchasing hasn't gotten through to the Mac App Store yet, so I don't want to plunk down my money until I know what I'm buying is accessible. Any comments well appreciated.

I don't know if this is what you are looking for but I'm using 12Voip quite successfully.
Edit: I think you must use the provider 12voip too then.

There is a free, completely accessible SIP client in the Mac App Store called Telephone. For basic requirements, it's perfect.

Yes, I did see "Telephone" and was wondering about its accessibility. Thanks for letting me know it's good to use.
