Hi,
I know there are a lot of podcast players for mac. But I simply want to download the podcasts that I like, convert them to a smaller bytrate, then put them in my archive queue to play in my player (not necessarily a podcast app) of choice. So what is the best app for downloading podcasts to an external hard drive, that won't make a fuss when I move them around. Downcast has a fit when heaven forbid, the artwork is missing. I delete the artwork, because I don't need it. Downcast also tends to panic when I move episodes. Is there simply a podcast downloader out there that's accessible with voiceover, where I'd have more freedom to move and manipulate the audio?
Thanks

Downcast
I am using Downcast and Pocketcasts.
Radio.net
For now I mainly just download each podcast episode from their respective websites. I had been using Apple's native podcast app and still do for some things, but I've found it a bit clunky. Once I upgrade to a new iPhone I want to check out Radio.net . I read through its app directory entry on here and went to their website. It seems like a good alternative.
