Hello Jessica,

Well, I'm not exactly sure what you are asking. So here is what I do know and hope it answer your question.

If one owns a copy of Microsoft Windows and you have a license for it. You are in luck. You can bootcamp your Mac so that you can have a Mac OS x on one partition and Microsoft Windows on another partition. Boot camp is free to do and you must download a boot camp package which has a set of drivers to make Microsoft Windows run on your Mac. This can be found on Apple and is a free download. You can then boot to what ever partition you like to run. You can get the best of both world when doing this.

Now if you are asking can one obtain Microsoft Windows for FREE to be installed on a Mac. No, this is not legal. That would be piracy.

Hi. I just install Windows 10 with BootCamp on my MacBookAir 2012 and it works fine without need to enter any product key during installation. I'm not going to activate it and will see what happen. I have been told that we can still able to use it with some limitation, that is, there's a watermark on the bottom right of the screen and we won't be able to make personalize settings. Let's see how it goes.

Installing Windows is not free. You need a product key to install Windows.

Hi,

How did you install Windows 10 without sighted help? This would be good to know since I wanted to test the performance of Windows on MAC hardware.

Ya after completed BootCamp Assistant and alocate about 50GB on the other partition on my Mac, I got my sighted nephew to help me install windows 10 for me then connect a USB windows keyboard and hit Windows+Enter (Command+Enter on the Mac keyboard) to start Narrator and proceed to install the screen reader of choice, for me it is NVDA. By the way, we can skip entering product key on Windows10, however we have to activate Windows after 30 days in order to get the full feature of it.

I was able to do it with Voiceover. My dad was there just making sure I was pressing the right buttons... don't worry, everything was labeled correctly on the screen.

hello all,

yes, you can install Windows 10 with no product key. I've been doing it for yeards, with ino prompt from windows indacating I need to use one and windows getting stuck in a bootloop wiithout one. However, you won't get to personalize anything, a watermark will appear on screen telling you to activate, and notifacations from action sentre will tell you peroticly will tell you to activate. other than that, you can run Windows 10 for free for an unlimated periodI decided to activate this time Windows 10 Pro, as I had the money to do so. really, their are not many advantages to axtivation, unless you want to personalize things. for a low-vission user though, activation is essential.
regards,
Daniel

You can use vmwere fusion, and create virtual machine of windows. But it's a bit slow and laggy and also uses much ram
