Hello everyone,
I'm Meriç Karaca, the developer of ZeroStudio. The native Mac version is now available on the Mac App Store, and I'd welcome feedback from people who record and edit with VoiceOver on macOS.
ZeroStudio on the Mac App Store
It requires macOS 14 or later. All studio tools require an annual subscription: US$99 per year in the US storefront, with a 7-day free trial for eligible users. Regional pricing and eligibility are shown before purchase. I want that to be clear before anyone downloads it.
A Mac workspace for editing by ear
The desktop workflow combines a multitrack timeline with accessible track and clip lists, numeric time fields, menus and keyboard shortcuts. You can choose a clip, enter precise edit boundaries and adjust its position without relying on dragging a waveform. Timing fields support millisecond precision, and levels can be adjusted in 1% steps.
Record narration directly into a project, select an available microphone and playback output, then trim, split, move or duplicate takes. Use mute and solo to concentrate on a track, add markers to find important moments, and preview edits as you work. Keyboard commands cover recording, playback, saving, undo and redo, splitting, duplicating and adding markers. Available audio devices depend on your Mac and connected hardware.
For a practical example, you could record an introduction, cut a retake, bring a music bed underneath it, add fades, and save your opening sequence to the reusable library for your next episode.
From a rough recording to a reusable production
The Mac studio includes:
- Volume and pan automation, fades and crossfades, plus mono/stereo and channel controls.
- 15 filters, including helium, robot, telephone, reverb and noise gate. Apply them to a full clip or just a chosen time range, then preview the result.
- 100 bundled CC0 sound effects and jingles, available offline.
- A personal audio library for recurring intros, transitions and voice clips. Send a selected clip range to another project, the library or an exported file.
- Peak/RMS analysis, selected-range export and separate-track exports for further work elsewhere.
- MP3, Ogg Opus, WAV, M4A/AAC, AIFF, CAF and ALAC export, with the sample-rate, bitrate, bit-depth and channel options supported by each format. Supported video imports can supply their audio track.
- Automatic saving, project history and recovery tools, plus synchronization through a chosen iCloud Drive folder.
Audio processing happens on your device. The interface offers dark mode, higher contrast and nine languages. There are no advertisements or third-party analytics.
The subscription renews automatically unless cancelled in Apple's subscription settings. Cancel at least 24 hours before the trial or current period ends to avoid the next charge. Restore Purchases is available; expiry does not automatically delete your projects.
There is also an earlier introduction and general discussion. This topic is specifically for the newly available Mac version and its desktop workflow.
If you try it on your Mac, which parts of recording, clip navigation and precise editing work well with VoiceOver, and where do you run into friction? Please include your macOS version and the steps involved when reporting a problem. Feedback on keyboard navigation and audio-device selection would be especially useful.
Thank you, Meriç Karaca / ZeroVisionLabs

Request to Review Pricing for Brazil and Add Portuguese.
Hello, I’m interested in testing your app, but it’s priced at R$ 599.90 in Brazil, which is hard for many people. Could you please reconsider the price for Brazil? And if you could add Brazilian Portuguese to the app, I’d really appreciate it.
