Hi all,
I work for a UK charity called Henshaws; we have been supporting people (and their families) living with sight-loss for coming up to 180 years.
We are always looking at new ways and methods to support and one idea has got us stumped.
Simply put - we want to attach a chat box on our web pages that are compatible with screen-readers - for now lets say VoiceOver and JAWS.
Naively I thought that would be easy....
LiveAgent is one of many companies I've contacted, they seem a big player - they told me yesterday that their solution does not support screenreaders: https://www.ladesk.com/help-desk-software and I've connected over operators too.
In short, I'm hoping this community have found a chat box that is totally accessible to the blind community.
We support people using all the conventional means - we just want to add another method and thought that would be simple!
Here's hoping
Kind regards, Mark from Henshaws Society for Blind People
