I’m stunned!

So I’ve been using this app for a couple days now and I’m amazed. I’ve started creating my own YouTube content with it… it’s really hard to explain if you don’t check it out yourself but the gist of it is, based off of prompts, it can create full length videos up to 30 minutes. You can also create your own voice clone to have your own voice narrate whatever story you’re telling, it puts all the footage together, all of the music together, there’s no sliders or anything to edit the video, you simply just edit it via prompting. The reason why I’m bringing it to the communities attention is because the more blind people use it, the more noise we can make about the accessibility. Right now it’s pretty finicky, you have to do a lot of screen recognition. I will post an example of what I’m talking about below. No, not trying to promote myself here, just want to show you folks the incredible power behind this small iPhone app lol. I will also provide the link to the app in the App Store. I’m not putting it in the apps section of the site just because I think everyone’s gonna have different experiences. Well I may be able to work around the accessibility, someone may not.
So here’s the description of the app:
Create videos from text with AI video generator. Make a publish-worthy video with script, media, voiceover from a single prompt to invideo AI in under 5 minutes. Invideo AI is the easiest way to make videos with AI in under 5 minutes. Just prompt your video idea and get a publish-worthy video. Save time finding freelance scriptwriters, scouring through millions of stock images, auditioning voiceover artists and editing your videos with complex tools. Just type your idea and it'll will generate an AI video with a script, voiceover, media, and subtitles. Ideal for marketers, business owners and content creators to make quick videos. Here are a few prompts to get you started. - Educational video "Make a 60 second video about our of the solar system for grade 1 students, include a joke about Pluto in young boy's voice" - Real estate "Make 5 minute video of top 5 things to remember while purchasing a house in a North American female accent with word by word subtitles" - Blog to video "Make a video with French subtitles from my blog link about my Unique pasta recipe video for my YouTube channel in my own voice" - Script to video "Make a 30 minute video from my script about fire safety protocols at my company in a British female accent with Spanish subtitles" Easy AI video creation in three simple steps: 1. Prompt your video idea in your own words. 2. Choose your audience & platform. 3. Hit 'generate video' and watch the magic unfold. Easy editing with simple text commands. Give AI a command in your own way. Just like talking to a human video editor. - Start the video with a funny joke - Change voiceover to french [or any of the 50+ languages] - Change subtitles to English - Change background music to set your audiences' mood - Add or remove subtitles Terms of Use: https://invideo.io/terms-and-conditions/ Privacy Policy: https://invideo.io/privacy-policy/

I would post it. The only reason I say this is because it will help more people. Someone might download hthis thinking it’s accessible when it isn’t all the way. Also please contact the dev.

By Stephen on Monday, March 17, 2025 - 02:12

I would, however, I wouldn’t be able to provide any feedback on how they could make it more accessible. I mean, I could say, please make it accessible, or more accessible, but that doesn’t provide them with pretty much anything. My hope is that someone smarter than me will see this and know some steps that they could take to do that ❤️ lol.

It’s hard to describe… it as not accessible all the way, i’m able to do it fully without any cited assistance. That being said, it does require working around certain things like turning the screen recognition on and off for different parts of the app. So it’s hard because I can’t say that it’s not accessible, yet I can’t say it’s fully accessible because it’s going to really depend on the individual who uses it. It’s a tough call so I don’t wanna be the one to make that call lol. The way I use it, it’s accessible for me… if what I’m saying makes sense. However, I could be babbling lol.

Hi Stephen,

If you do want to post it to the App Directory (which is something I definitely recommend if you have the time and inclination, especially given the potential of this app), I recommend selecting the usability rating "There are some accessibility issues with this app, but it can still be used if you are willing to tolerate these issues and learn how to work around them."

Best,
Michael

OK, I did it. Lol. It took me a while, but I got it done. Did you want me to remove this thread?

Hi Stephen,

No need at all to remove this thread (unless you want to, of course). 😊 I think both the entry and this thread have their place.

By kool_turk on Tuesday, March 18, 2025 - 02:12

If you can find the developer's details, maybe send them a link to this thread?

That's how some developers in the past found this place and joined this community.

Over time, their apps improved because of community engagement.

Maybe change the subject to this thread to something that would make people want to actually click and read?

By Stephen on Tuesday, March 18, 2025 - 02:12

If you wanna rename it be my guest lol.

By Stephen on Tuesday, March 18, 2025 - 02:12

But I think the titles fine. You clicked on it didn’t you?

By Brad on Tuesday, March 18, 2025 - 02:12

At the risk of sounding like an old person, there's to many AI apps these days and I think it can make peple very lazy.

Correct me if i'm rong but I believe you were using the AI voice clone part of the app to clone your voice to read the script? I say that because of the long pauses at certain parts of the video.

Also the music is a bit off putting and this is the issue with these types of aps, you can only tweek it so far.

From what I remember from trying this app months back, you can't really tune it as much as you think you can, once it's made the video, that's it.

By kool_turk on Tuesday, March 18, 2025 - 02:12

Eventually, you won’t need GUI elements to fine-tune apps. You’ll just describe exactly what you want, down to the smallest detail, to get things exactly right.

Yes, I clicked on it, but that doesn’t mean others will.

Right now, AI chatbots are at their worst, so they can only improve from here.

And yeah, the weird inflections made it obvious that was a voice cloning tool, but this technology will only get better.

First of all, this app is awesome—I can definitely see myself using it for some projects. However, guys, I’d advise against using it to advocate for disabilities. It might give the impression that we’re not putting real effort into the videos since they’re entirely AI-generated. At least in my country, there’s still a lot of distrust toward AI-generated content, and I understand why. These days, fake information—sometimes leading to conflict—is being spread through AI-generated videos, and unfortunately, people still fall for it.
That being said, I’d love to see an AI-powered video editor that assists with editing rather than generating videos. That way, the content remains real, but AI can help with touch-ups—something we might not be able to do ourselves.

By Stephen on Tuesday, March 18, 2025 - 02:12

We are all getting old lol.
Yes I am using the voice cloning part of the app as well. There are a few reasons why I’m
Doing this. One reason is I work 40 hours a week so I honestly don’t have the time to record, re-record, edit the audio. This also means I don’t have the time to go out and create footage, locate the music tracks….i mean I could probably go on and on about how expensive it would be to higher video editors etc etc. Once the yt channel gets big enough then I can start doing more but for a small YouTuber, I’m surprised actually that the formula is working. People seem to be loving the visuals, stories and the music which is why the sub count keeps going up. As for editing, yes you can. You can change footage, change music etc etc. I do make sure the songs thru out the video fit with my vision and the way I want to tell my personal lived experiences. The scripts are something I write myself. Once this gets much bigger, I will probably quit my job to go traveling again because you can upload your own clips into this app as well.

By Stephen on Tuesday, March 18, 2025 - 02:12

I’m
Not making videos for advocating lol. Telling my story of my own personal lived experiences giving up my permanent address to go live on the road with my guide dog for a couple years. The footage is stock footage basically beautiful scenic things for the sighted watching with my story being told by my voice. You can also upload your own footage into it but not only do I
Have limited photos and videos, they wouldn’t be engaging or professional looking enough for the audience. Nobody was saying I’m trying to do any sort of advocating work with it, that being said a YouTube channel being built by someone who is completely blind with no sighted assistance for any of the videos seems to be catching on. Technology has made more things possible and open and there is nothing wrong with sharing that in a medium that can reach lots of people from all walks of life. Plus, I can translate my videos into 50 other languages so that’s pretty cool.

What an app man! Personally I wouldn't use it for any professional work, for now, but surely it makes for some entertaining and interesting app for us blind people.

By Brad on Tuesday, March 18, 2025 - 02:12

I'd be very careful about quitting your day job, youtube add money is very bad these days from what I've heard.

If you can do it, go for it, but just be safe.

By Stephen on Tuesday, March 18, 2025 - 02:12

Appreciate you looking out ❤️. I won’t quit my day job unless I know I can do it.

By DMNagel on Tuesday, March 18, 2025 - 02:12

I'm not sure if I have to take any of the subscriptions, but I just can't play my video. Sounds cool though. I was hoping that the free version would at least allow me to get a feel for what I'm dealing with.

By Stephen on Tuesday, March 18, 2025 - 02:12

This is the part where you’re gonna have to turn on your screen recognition and listen for something that sounds like this:
iStock, by Getty Images, Settings, Play, 00:00 / 11:59, Expand

It should be in the center of your screen once you turn on screen recognition. Once you tap on that it should play.

By sechaba on Tuesday, March 18, 2025 - 02:12

I am also not taking any of the subscriptions. and by the way, you can also make facebook videos, in addition to the youtube ones.

By Stephen on Tuesday, March 18, 2025 - 02:12

Really the only difference between the free plant and the pay plan is based on the terms of service. It doesn’t look like you’re allowed to use it on streaming platforms like YouTube which could end up getting monetized that and the free videos are watermarked and you only get a certain amount of credits.

By DMNagel on Tuesday, March 18, 2025 - 02:12

Thanks for all that. Got my video to download also.

By Stephen on Tuesday, March 18, 2025 - 02:12

Awesome! Glad I could be of help.
