Hello AppleVis community,
I hope this post finds you all well. I’m excited to start my very own podcast in the coming weeks, and I’m looking for some guidance and advice from experienced podcasters within this fantastic community. Since I’m just starting out, I plan to keep things simple and utilize the resources I already have, namely my iPad and Mac. Therefore, I won’t be investing in additional equipment like microphones or sound mixers for now.
I’d love to hear about your podcasting experiences, especially if you’ve worked with similar setups. Here are a few specific questions I have in mind:
1. Recording apps: What kind of recording app do you use when podcasting with an iPad and Mac? Are there any affordable or built-in apps that work well for beginners?
2. Editing Apps: Which apps do you recommend for editing podcasts on an iPad and Mac? I’d like to know about any accessible and user-friendly options.
3. Tips for a Smooth Workflow: What advice can you offer to streamline the podcast creation process, from recording to editing and publishing?
4. Accessibility: Are there any accessibility features or tools on Apple devices that have been particularly helpful in your podcasting journey?
I’m grateful for any insights, suggestions, or stories you’re willing to share. I’m eager to soak up as much knowledge as I can and ensure a successful start to my podcasting adventure. Thank you in advance for your support and guidance.
Best regards!

This is also interesting to me.
Hi, my husband and I have also been talking about setting up a podcast for the two of us. I think we’re just sort of hesitating on creating a subject matter that we can both agree on and really get into. I am, however, looking forward to the information that we might that you might get from this Question. I think the questions you asked were intelligent and clear. Any information from other Podcasters would certainly be helpful and if I had to guess we’re probably not the only people thinking about doing something like this. I will definitely be following this post. Thank you so much for asking all the right questions.
