HI. I just wanted to see how many people are experiencing a rather irritating bug with watch os 5. More times than not, the toggles become stuck and unresponsive and refuse to activate unless I restart the watch. Has anyone else seen this?
A fair few people have spotted this and written about it elsewhere, so you're not alone. I experience it too. Another annoying thing I experience is that sometimes email notifications tend to stop working for a time. Has anyone else experienced that? I can't find a way that works consistently in getting them back. Sometimes emailing myself at my Exchange account works, at other times restarting the watch works. i can't find exactly what triggers it either.
I've encountered the same issue as well and have reported it to Apple. I was dealing with a representative from Apple Accessibility and was asked to send some log files, which I did, but haven't heard back from the representative in a while. I was thinking of trying to reach out to them again to see if they may have an update on the matter.
I've also encountered another couple of bugs, which haven't occured in over a week, so the issue may have fixed itself, but on some morning, after leaving my watch on the charging puck overnight, once I took it off the puck to wear, after several seconds, the watch booted up. I originally thought that perhaps the watch was somehow chutting down overnight with the action of taking it off the puck, made the watch boot up. After some time, I took it off one morning and tapped the screen to make sure it was still on, and after a few seconds of putting it on my wrist, the watch was booting up. Got no clue what that is all about but it had happened before the last time I sent over the log files to Apple, so hopefully with those, they'll figure out what is going on.
