Hi,
I turned my iPhone's bluetooth and wi-fi off, purposely to play my music locally stored on my apple watch when I went to walk on the treadmill today. That worked fine, except a few songs into the walk, some random rap song came up.. I don't even listen to rap, how in the world did that get on there? Yes, I subscribe to apple music, but I certainly wouldn't have put something like that in my library. Besides, I put only music I imported into music myself on my iPhone and watch, not music from apple music. several songs like that showed up, unfortunately, it's music I don't even really like. Then, when I went back on my phone, and searched my library for it, it didn't show up on my phone, just on the watch. How can I get those songs off of the watch? They're taking up space, and I don't even want them on there. At one time, I did have add recent, and add suggested, but I've since unchecked that setting.
Thanks for any tips.

Sounds like you may have…
Sounds like you may have been streaming songs from Apple Music if you're subbed to that. It's not easy to tell if you're streaming or playing music stored on the watch itself.
I haven't had a watch in a while, but I never had a problem playing music that was locally stored there.
IIRC, you need to open the music ap and scroll all the way to the top. You'll see things like generated Apple Music stations and your library. You want to tap library and then look for and tap downloaded. This will bring you to a list of artists, albums, and songs, but only what you have synced to your watch. You can find what you want to play in any of these. I always went for songs and then hit shuffle.
Once you pick something to play, you might see a pop up dialog asking you where you want to play it. Select your Air Pods here. If that doesn't happen, there's a button somewhere on the now playing screen to bring it up. Although confusingly, the button is labelled AirPlay but also lets you connect and play music through bluetooth speakers or headphones. VO output switches to these once you've connected them.
Yes, walking on the treadmill is great. I figured out how to use the one in my apartment building yesterday, and it makes me miss my activity rings. Oh well, at least my move ring will still get some love. Part of why I got rid of my AW5 was because the workouts app was really frustrating to use after watchOS 10 came out, so I decided to get some trade in credit while I still could and put it towards my 15 Pro.
C'mon Apple, make a smart ring!
