watchOS3 beta fitness App with audible speech for exercise info

By trifusion, 4 September, 2016

Forum
watchOS and Apple Watch Apps

I apologize for cross posting but this iOS fiitness App also works on the Apple Watch.

I am the developer of an Apple Watch fitness App that uses text to speech (TTS) to offer verbal instructions for gym users. This feature provides audible instructions on your next exercise (weight, reps) and an audible signal to indicate the end of a rest time between exercises. All data will sync seamlessly with the iPhone App.

I was hoping to gather feedback on the apps from the AppleVIS community during the beta development. If you would like more details on the APP the sign up page is here:
https://rink.hockeyapp.net/recruit/3b15ed5e8805460193c0a4fc750af7c5

After signing up on HockeyApp you will be sent an invite by Apple to download the beta using TestFlight.

Although it currently requires the watchOS3 beta, we are also accepting sign-up by persons intending on upgrading to watchOS3 soon after the scheduled September 7th release date. The beta testing of the App will continue after Apple officially releases watchOS3.

Thank you for your assistance.

Amazing!
I look forward to test this apt when watchos 3 comes out.
We've been missing on all those fitness apps that are completely inaccessible, I'm excited to see what features you guys have in this app and how does the rep tracking and readouts work.

Thank you for your eager anticipation, I look forward to your feedback.

There are some limitations with watchOS so not all the iOS features are available on the Apple Watch version. The main feature with watchOS3 will be that it speaks to you during your rest between exercises so you know what your next exercise info is and that it provides a timer signal when the rest is over. I am still adding some VoiceOver features so if you think of anything else please let me know.

There are over 300 exercises to choose from and lots of workouts. Although some workouts have been provided specifically for women as their needs tend to be forgotten and I am trying to make the app accessible to them as well. All the exercises, workouts and routines are unisex. You can use one of the pre-defined workouts or create your own from the over 300 exercises. If an exercise is not there that you do you can also easily add your own custom exercise.

Thank you for your input.

Please feel free to ask any other questions.

Currently I am working on adding more VoiceOver support. If there are areas of the App you feel could have better accessibility by improving the VoiceOver please let me know.

Thanks
