Hello, I'm not sure if this is the right place on the forum to post this, but I need some help backing content (mainly audiobooks) to itunes on a PC from my iphone, and I also want to be able to transfer content from itunes backups back to my iphone. If anyone could give me the steps to doing this it would be great.
thanks for any help and sorry if this is not posted in the correct part of the forum.

To transfer media on your iPhone to your computer, in iTunes, choose devices>transfer purchases.

To create an iTunes backup, choose devices>backup device, where device is the name of your device.

To restore from an iTunes backup, choose devices>restore from backup.

Note, a, "Backup," only backs up the data on your iPhone, which is different from iTunes media syncing. If media is on your computer that you want to transfer to your iPhone, make sure that type of media is set to sync in the settings playlist and then select sync iPhone. I know this can be quite confusing, but I hope this helps.

Thanks for the answer, it was helpful. I just have 1 other question: can I sync specific content, (let's say I only want 1 or 2 audiobooks to be transferred from itunes to my iphone) is that possible or does the sync transfer all media?

Hi! Yes, it's possable to sink spasifick content like audio books, ringtone and more. Just choose what you want to sink from the list that show there.

I think the original poster's question wasn't whether he could sync a specific type of content, but where he could sync a single instance of a particular type of content. In this case it was audiobooks. To answer the question, I'm not sure.

In the summary playlist in iTunes, you can select, "Sync only checked songs and videos." Although I don't use this myself, I would assume it also applies to audio books.

You will then have to go into your library and deselect the checkbox next to each item you don't want transferred.
