Omni Describer lets you select a video stored on your computer or input a URl to have a video found online on Youtube or elsewhere described. You need to have your own API keys for Google Gemini and OpenAI. While the latter is optional for high-quality audio descriptions with OpenAI voices, the former is mandatory. You can pause the video at any moment to get more detailed information about a particular scene, explore the visual content with your arrow keys and have the visible objects described,, or even export the description as an MP3 file. You can use this link to download the app directly, or visit audioses.com for more information and other great stuff. The developer is my personal friend, which means I will be able to get in touch with him and help improve the app.

I got an error when trying to download a video.I
Here's the error: An error occurred during processing:
Failed to download from YouTube URL https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cTZ0_n-r3wE: Unexpected error fetching video info: yt-dlp error fetching info for https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cTZ0_n-r3wE. RC: 1, Stderr: N/A
I do have these settings changed: description verbosity: detailed.
disable safety filters is checked.
Enable Character Glossary Pre-Analysis checked.
I think the API key was added correctly so i'm not sure what's going on.
I was able to download the video and would've got a description
had the token count not been exceeded. So it's likely a connection issue you're having. I did have another video described so there's no problem with the description/Gemini part either.
Odd.
I was downloading stuff using sync.com but i exited the program before trying it so i'm not sure what's going on.
