Hello, which completely free program for Windows do you recommend for downloading and converting Audible protected audiobooks into .m4b files? I used Book Lib Connect but it's very inaccessible and difficult to use both with JAWS and NVDA. Thanks.
I use one called inaudible. Google it, or message me. They don't have an official website, but they do have a github. It is accessible, and cross platform.
From what I've found, it depends on your configuration as well as your setup. When I was trying to fix it, I had found other fixes that did not work for me. I don't think it's a one size fits all.

As far as I know,
You won't get any apps for free.
There's websites, here's an article but i can't promice they're fully accessible: https://www.any-audiobook-converter.com/guide/convert-audible-to-mp3-online.html

R: Inaudible
I tried Inaudible but I can't convert any .aax to either .m4b or .mp3. The file is not present in the output folder.
@Knut
Feel free to send me a message and we can connect. I have gotten it to work for me, and would love to see if I can help you do the same. 😀

Can you post how you made it to work here, I think it might be useful for everyone interested.
