When I go to bed and charge my iPhone, I turn the phone off and let it charge. Will the new way to charge work if the phone is off?

I personally do not like the new app store layout when it comes to updating apps. It just seems like a longer way to go about it in my opinion.

@Holger Faille: Boy, that is a good question. Honestly, I don't know but my gut instinct says no. I would think the OS has to be on to implement this feature but if anyone else knows the answer. I surely would love to hear if this does or doesn't work when the device is turned off.

@Troy: You are not alone on this new UI change with in the AppStore. As I know many of us are not going to like this new way. Firstly, you must admit that Apple has put an emphasis on the new Arcade service up front and center. Which is probably why that they went with this new change. Secondly, I'd imagine that Apple probably think that most people just have the app update to automatically and don't really care about the updates. But I am talking in the most part of the visual and sighted folks. I was amazed in my household that all but myself that check on the updates personally. That is coming from four people with vision and then myself with none. But apparently Apple must think the same way.

I only turn my iPhone off when I got to bed. However if my iPhone is %50 I do not charge and turn iPhone off and use it in the morning and end up charging phone in the afternoon instead of night.

For some reason, I can't make sub-folders. Did they remove this feature?
