I, too, thank you for this excellent walkthrough. I don't have Face ID but it sounds pretty cool. One thing I do when I'm installing updates, is set Autolock to Never. That way they are uninterrupted. Lately I've noticed that Autolock automatically goes back to 30 seconds, which is what I usually have it set at. This is a neat feature.
