I do not use any apps to record. I use the Braille Sense u2. I turn off my Bluetooth keyboard, place the unit on top of the keyboard, and the ipad sits in the case above it. I scooch the Braille Sense as close as I can to the ipad without bumping the screen so it can pick up voiceover, but in case it can't, I also repeat what voiceover says when I can.
