The Spike Keyboard Case; No Charging or Pairing Required!

Posted on Friday, May 22, 2015 by djflex90

<p>Spike Keyboard Case Review
By Christopher O&rsquo;Meally

So the other day on my lunch hour, I was thinking about my ever growing need to type quickly and accurately on my iPhone. I have vastly improved at direct touch typing, but something was missing. I needed a small keyboard solution that I could access on demand, and I didn&rsquo;t want to carry around yet another device with me, along with my iPhone 5s, and my apple watch. I thought about a keyboard case…

Summary: If you want a very thin keyboard with almost full-sized keys, silent operation, a spill resistant covering, handy iOS-specific hotkeys and decent battery life, check out the Logitech Keys-To-Go.

Dimensions: 5.39" by 9.53" by 0.24" That's right, it's only a quarter-inch thick.

Battery Life: Logitech states that the battery will last for three months on a full charge, with approximately two hours use per day. Of course…

iFox Creations Bluetooth Shower Speaker

Posted on Monday, April 13, 2015 by Larry Thacker Jr.

The speaker is round, approximately 3 inches in diameter, and has a suction cup attached to the back so that you can stick it on the wall. It comes with a charging cable that has a standard USB connector at one end and a mail plug similar to that on a wired headset on the other rend. I would prefer a standard connector for charging, since having a proprietary one means you have to keep it with you if you will need to charge the unit and if you lose it you're toast. However using the…

Plantronics M55, best headset ever

Posted on Wednesday, January 21, 2015 by Deborah Armstrong

I've now owned around 5 bluetooth headsets, and the first 4 were unsatisfactory. After repeatedly hearing that bluetooth had gotten honestly better, I decided to try one more time to find something suitable.

The Plantronics M55 is everything I wanted. I spent a long time reading reviews and comparing models. I also kept a list of what I hated about my previous headsets. Let's visit it to see why the M55 is such an improvement.

Previous headsets, even those that…

VarioUltra 20: a Great display

Posted on Friday, January 9, 2015 by Scott Davert

Updated 2/6/17
The VarioUltra, a display sold by Baum and distributed in the US by Baum Retech, is a new comer to the market of what the assistive tech industry is calling "smart braille displays". They're called this, because, while they are not full fledged notetakers such as what you will find in a device like the BrailleNote Touch or Braille Sense, they do some other tasks unlike displays such as the Focus line from Freedom Scientific and Brailliant from Humanware.…

Posted on Friday, January 2, 2015 by the grumpy apple

It also comes with a micro-usb cable for charging with a computer or standard USBwall charger. A wall charger is not included, just the cable.
The orientation of the buttons is easy to understand. Everything is on the right side of the headset. The only thing on the flat serfice of the headset are four buttons. On the left…

Creative Sound Blaster Roar SR20A

Posted on Saturday, December 27, 2014 by Piotr Machacz

Introduction

I wanted to get a bluetooth speaker for quite a while now. Christmas came along and a relative asked me if there was anything specific I wanted. My first obvious choice was Jambox, because lots of people have it and, apart from the companion website being not very accessible, it's a very awesome speaker. However, thanks to someone on Teamtalk I got to hear comparison between a big Jambox and the Soundblaster Roar. The latter not only sounded more impressive, but is…

On the go and need to charge? The Lumsing 6000 MAH power bank has you covered

Posted on Thursday, October 30, 2014 by Scott Davert
Introduction<

There are all sorts of battery packs on the market these days, some are very small and compact, and offer a capacity of just 4000 MAH(milliamp hours), while others offer as much as 24000 MAH. As a general rule, the larger the MAH rating, the more expensive the device and the larger the size and weight. For heavy duty users, they may wish to consider something of a higher capacity than 6000 MAH, as they probably carry several other devices in a bag of some sort anyway, so a…

LifeProof Case for iPhone 4/4S

Posted on Tuesday, June 10, 2014 by Christina

Though this case is rather expensive, it is definitely worth the expense.
I have had this case for a few months now and compared to various other cases I have tried, my experience with how well this case protects my phone is exceptional.
I am not someone that generally puts my phone in situations where it could get damaged however I drop things a lot and recently had my case in a backpack that flipped while canoeing. In instances of dropping the case, my phone has experienced no…

Logitech UE Mobile Boombox

Posted on Tuesday, June 3, 2014 by Amber

This is a much smaller, cheaper version of the Logitech UE Boombox. Logitech and UE partnered to create both of these products and they are both great for different things. The Mobile boombox is tiny, small enough to keep in a purse or backpack. By its size, you would think it would not have the best sound quality, but the quality of the sound on this thing is impressive. Of course it is not going to shake the entire room with bass, but it sure did shake the coffee table. Unlike the Jawbone…

Logitech UE Boombox

Posted on Tuesday, June 3, 2014 by Amber

This is the best Bluetooth speaker I have ever heard for the price. It sells fo ranywhere between $150 and $200, but it's worth it. The speaker has amazing sound quality and is easy to travel with. It has a thick, sturdy built-in handle for carrying it around, you can tell it's made for taking places or using outside. The whole speaker is made of sturdy metal except for the bottom and sides which are made of a hard rubber so that it doesn't slide or get tipped over easy. The…

LG Tone Pro HBS-750 Bluetooth Headset

Posted on Tuesday, June 3, 2014 by Amber

This is a very unique Bluetooth headset. It is somewhat hard to explain, the best thing is to go to a store and ask them to open a box and show it to you, but I will try my best to describe it.
This is a very light-weight piece of technology that goes around the back of your neck and sits on your shoulders. Earbuds are magnetically attached to the main neck piece by sliding them into cylindrical holes at each end of the unit. Small, thin, but durably attached cords connect the earbuds…

iPad air update

Posted on Sunday, March 9, 2014 by djflex90
Ipad Air Update. By Christopher O'Meally. Not long ago I wrote an article about the first couple of days with my new Ipad Air. I have noticed many new things about it, and I got a really good case to boot. So Lets get started. Needless to say I still love Apples newest Ipad, and even though I own a MacBook Air, the Ipad Air has become my main device. I perform most functions on it. Word processing, spread sheet creation, presintation creation, video editing, music composition, Netflix,…
