Here at AppleVis we strive to make it easier for you to find great and accessible apps to use on Apple products.
From this page, you can browse and search our directories of iOS and OS X apps; see what apps others are recommending; see which iOS apps our community have inducted into our Hall Of Fame; and check to see if there are any promotions on accessible apps.
iOS App Directory
Our main resource for owners of iPhones, iPads and the iPod Touch is the iOS App Directory, which currently contains user-submitted information on the accessibility of more than 3000 apps.
iOS App Recommendations
Whilst browsing the iOS App Directory, we encourage all registered site members to flag the apps that they would recommend to other VoiceOver users. These are apps that are not only accessible, but are also very good at what they are designed to do.
Mac App Directory
Our main resource for Mac users is the Mac App Directory.

Apple Watch Apps
With the Apple Watch only recently released, we have still to settle upon the best way of collecting and making available information on the accessibility of Watch apps. So, for the time being, we are simply offering the ability to find iOS apps which are known to offer support for the Apple Watch. We will be expanding upon this over the coming months as we learn more about the Apple Watch, the accessibility issues that it offers, what information is available, and how best to share this.

The iOS App Hall of Fame
The AppleVis iOS App Hall of Fame is where we acknowledge and celebrate the apps that exemplify all that is great about owning an iOS device.
From time to time, developers will reduce the price of their apps for a promotional period. Occasionally, they may even be free for a short time. To help you take advantage of these deals, we try to spot and post details of any which we believe to be of particular interest and value to our community.
Reporting inaccessible apps to developers
If you encounter accessibility problems with any app, we would strongly encourage you to contact the developer. Our experience is that most developers will be receptive to polite requests to address accessibility issues.
When contacting a developer, be sure to provide them with all the information needed to replicate the problem.
