Hi David! Your podcasts about the Watch were fantastic, so many congratulations to you. Regarding the maps and the turn by turn direction, i would have two questions. Can you use another maps application such as Google maps and receive the indications on the Watch? Can you set the roote from the Watch interface or you have to use the iphone for that? Thank you!

It is 2017 and I do not have an apple watch. I found out that it wasn't for me.
I am going to learn how to use apple maps on Friday. I think that it will help me a lot as the accessibility has improved.

I'd like to say thanks so much for these podcasts, they're amazing and very helpful.
I've pre ordered my watch and can't wait to use maps. It seems better on the watch than on the IPhone, but that is probably more to do with the fact that the device is just on your wrist so is a lot easier to get to than a phone.
My question is, can you get turn by turn directions? For example; the speach would tel you turn left on, (name of streat.) So you would, then the watch would turn off, and once you've turned left it will tell you walk, (name of distants you prefer,) on (name of streat?)
Checking the watch is nice and I'm sure I'll get used to it but if you're in a rush I think it would be nice if it told you turn by turn directions.

David. Firstly, thank you so much for producing this collection of podcasts. I have just ordered my first Apple Watch, only a series 1, because I think this will meet my needs perfectly well. I was very interested to hear the turn by turn directions and the noises that you got when using Apple maps with the watch. Like Brad before me said, it would seem that Matt worked much better on the applewatch than on the phone itself. I'm currently using our N I B navigator and blind Square but think I might give this a shot. If it's free and does the job, that's good enough for me.
