Device(s) App Was Tested On:
This App is slightly more accessible than the average App developed by Electronic Arts. Several levels of the menu system are navigable and have some properly labeled items, some of the buttons are properly labeled, and several other screen elements are readable by VO. With some patience, it is possible to select the player types and banker options. Unfortunately, beyond those initial setup options it does not seem possible to actually play a game. For example, to roll the dice you must touch one of several icons that are not visible to VO before you are able to shake the phone to simulate rolling the dice.
I have contacted Electronic Arts several times over the past year to point out the lack of access to this App, to ask that they consider adding accessibility, and to inform them of the resources available to help guide them in designing equal access into their line of simple board / grid-style games.
This is another board game I grew up with. I was disappointed to find that Electronic Arts has chosen to make the IOS version of this game inaccessible.
