In this podcast, Thomas Domville discusses and explores how in iOS 13 users have the capability to create custom VoiceOver configurations for different tasks. For example, having a Different VoiceOver voice, speaking rate, and verbosity level for when using a specific app.

I use headset and it is hard to listen when peeople have voiceover fast. Hope next podcast you remember to slow your voiceover. Again some of us have problem with hearing.
No slower for me, please!
Thomas, please *do not* slow down VoiceOver speech in your podcasts!
It's very clear that you slow down the speed from what you would have it for your normal use. The speed is already slightly slower than your own speaking rate, making it even slower would be to the detriment of the listening experience in my opinion.
Keep the podcasts coming!
VoiceOver Rate
Hello Holger Fiallo,
Please keep in mind that I have recorded these casts about two weeks ago. There will be two more of these casts that we can expect in the coming days. I will absolutely re-evaluate the VoiceOver rate when new casts are made by me.
Thanks.
Activities
Thank you for a great and well thought out podcast! Now I can use different voices for things such as safari, mail, social media... while still having the default VO voice. Pretty cool. I will have fun playing with this new feature in IOS 13 when it comes out tomorrow. Thanks again. :)
Activity Not Present By Default On Rotor
First, apologies to all and especially Thomas if I missed something in this outstanding podcast. I started with one profile which I set for email and of course as expected, it worked like a charm. I had the impression that Profile would then automatically appear on my rotor. Not so; you need to go to settings/accessibility/VoiceOver/rotor and down to the bottom of the list which will read Activity. Now, double tap to select this item which will become a part of your rotor collection. I was satisfied with the location of "Activity" just prior to character so i did no reorganization.
Rotor settings in activities?
I rarely change voice or punctuation in different apps, but I have often wished I could change rotor settings. Possibly a global one that has a lot of settings I want to use occasionally and another with a lot of them out of the way.
