Happy New Year all!
For years now I've really wished for a way to have Voiceover's speech come through the IPhones speaker/out instead of through the Bluetooth output which the phone is connected to. This has never been a possibility with iOS and Bluetooth. It is a possibility when Airplay over Wifi, and through Apple Car play (wired connection via USB) Now in iOS 13.3 something seams broken. When I connect my IPhone 10S to a Bluetooth 3.0 a2DP Audio device, Voiceover and SIRI audio comes through the phone, while all other audio comes through the paired BT device. My girlfriend also has an IPhone 10S with the same iOS software running and it also has the same functionality as described above. I have tried newer BT receivers and VO comes out the BT device. This does prove though what I figured that this was possible through software.

It all depends on the type of bluetooth connection, basically wh
On my Yamaha receiver, my sound bar, and my Makita radio, the voiceover voice stays with the phone. On anything that would normally let you use it as a speaker phone, voiceover stays on the speaker. I have one radio where it stays with the speaker instead of going to the phone, and it may well be able to act as a speaker phone. Overall, I'd like the choice in a rotor option, but I can live with it the way it is, it is better than the way it used to be.

Thank you for your response and comments on your experience. It is very interesting because I to have a sound bar, could be a different make and model than yours, but I do not believe it has a microphone for voice response, and Voiceover speech comes through the Bluetooth connection to the sound bar. I do have another small speaker which I also do not believe it has a microphone for voice interaction and speech comes through the Bluetooth connected speaker. When I have my iPhone connected to the Logitech Bluetooth receiver, which is the Bluetooth 3.0 device where speech comes through the handset still, in settings, accessibility, voiceover, audio, under the channels heading it’s showing that speech should be coming through the Bluetooth device which is why am feeling this is a bug in the operating system versus Apple trying to make a change.
