This is what you may want. Using Text Selection roater you can select parts of a text and then copy it from the Edit Roater. If not activated already this has to be activated from Voiceover settings.

I have put text selection in the rota but it doesn't appear and nor does edit always appear.

1. if you just need to copy a line or a sentence.
just use 3 fingers tap 4 times.
2. if you want to copy an artical.
first of all.
you have to use selection Roater to select the line or select all.
and then use the roater to go to the edit roater. then swipe down to find the copy then double tap!
it should work.

hope that's help.

An important thing to

An important thing to remember is before you can copy and paste any text, you have to make sure you double tap the edit field where the text in question is so it says "is editing." If not, the edit rotor will not be visible.

The original poster is right.

The original poster is right. The text selection rotor doesn't always appear. you have to be in an area of selectable text for it to appear. just a heads up concerning the three finger quadruple tap, that gesture copies the last thing VoiceOver spoke to the clipboard, including link, heading, etc., so be prepared to delete the excess spoken content when you copy that way.
