Voiceover Latency When Using Airpods 2nd Gen And Apple Watch Series 4

Hi All and hope someone can help.

I am getting at least half a second latency between my touching my Apple watch series 4 and hearing Voiceover in my Airpods 2nd Gen.

I’m running the latest software for my watch.

I’v left it for a while as I presumed it was just something that was common to us all but, I’v been told subsequently that it shouldn’t be happening.

I’d be really grateful if anyone could tell me if this is a common problem and more importantly, if it isn’t, how I might resolve it.

I have tried reseting my watch which didn’t resolve the issue.
