Good morning,
I use backpack studio to record my podcast episodes and anchor to distribute and publish them. My question to you guys is what other apps are out there for making and distributing podcasts. I will most likely be doing the same thing. Importing my podcast from backpack studio into whatever app I use, but I just want to know what other ones there are so that I can compare. Thanks. Also, for my fellow podcasters, what apps do you use to add music and sound effects to your podcast. I've thought about using garage band to make my own, but I am not good at using that. not to mention the fact that the app seems very visual. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you,
Leslie

Try Audacity
audacity is a free and open source audio editing program with multi-track capabilities. It also comes with a number of useful plug-ins for normalization, compressing, and noise reduction.
The program is quite accessible on a Windows PC. Not sure about Mac PC's if that is what you are using.

Thanks. The thing is though,…
Thanks. The thing is though, I'm using my phone for my podcasting. Not a PC or Mac. Thanks though
Garage Band
I'm sure you could find many resources on here (the Apple vis website) by doing a search for Garage Band as well as doing a google search to find some information out about it. To say that it is a purely visual app is not a fair assessment of it as there are many VoiceOver user's that can successfully use garage band. I would even suggest getting the app or opening it on your IOS device and exploring the controls, getting some hands on experience and see if you can figure out how to use it.
Thanks
I'm sorry about that, I don't think that's what I meant. I know that it is fairly accessible, but the fact that trying to put things in different places like putting a loop in part of a song kind of messes me up because it seems like you have to work in a grid when working with the loops. I will do research, but thanks for the help. :-)
Another question
Hey everybody,
I have a question kind of relating to the topic. So far I've been working with garage band and for the most part it's OK, but I want to save my song somewhere so that I can actually use it in my podcast. Is this possible, and if not is there any apps that have sound effects and music that are able to be used without having to deal with copyright issues? I've been having trouble finding articles and stuff about garage band with voiceover. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks a bunch,
Leslie
About Mac OS
It's accessible on Mac, however you have to use a slightly older version of the app. It works fine though.
