Unable to download apps onto my watch

I have an Apple Watch that is running the latest version on watch OS.
I am trying to download a watch only app on the watch in the App Store. It äays double click to pay, but doing so does not lead to anything. The wifi is around.
How ccan I download apps?

I missunderstood that I should have used the side button so I just double tapped and it didn@t. work. Now having issues writing my password. I see the text field after clicking enter password and then I see nothing more.

things work without bluetooth but this did not but now I have turned it on and feel really stupid..

no worries. I had bt off for months, I had forgottn about it, and yeah, that was fun. Btw it was off on the watch, not the phone. and it does help when I'm getting phone calls. My work out stuff though was never synced until now.
