New version of tvOS giving me a hard time

Okay have been using Disney plus since long. Now, after the latest update I choose between direct touch and follow focus but still it doesn't work. I cannot access the audio panel any more. It is ot easy to do anything with direct touch but I cannot do it with follow focus. On

I have been having accessibility problems with a few of the apps I use on the Apple TV. I finally just moved everything to Firestick because it seems to be more accessible with the apps I use. Plus, the remote works better.

The accessibility of the apple tv over the past year or so has gone down hill and quite frankly is embarrassing, heck when tv os 15 comes out we may be all switching to either fire tv or chromecast because apple tv accessibility will be so bad we can't use it.

hi.

I had the same issue, I had to reset my Apple TV completely in order to get it to work. it works now but the OS isn't the best. It keeps jumping around and I can miss things so I have to go back and double check that I'm on the right app that I want to use. I hope this helps you out

hi, I am totally blind. I would like to buy a tv for my new house and have been thinking if buying an apple TV is a good idea. isn't so that Apple TV is the only TV with screen reader on it at the moment? or is there any other option as well? and are these comments about an apple TV, if so , it seems that buying it is not a good idea right now?

Apple tv is a device that connects to a tv, not a tv. Right now, I would buy the dumbest tv I could get, then connect a chromecast to it. That way you can stream from your phone or pc and you haven't bought into anything expensive that may have accessibility issues later.

oh ok, I have understood things very wrong :D I am not following all the news and have always just heard apple TV so thought it is a TV. thank you for the advise . I will look into it.
