I have a MacBook Air 2019 and all my macOS and bootcamp updates in rule.
I have a lot of sound issues using bootcamp. from the beginning while using speakers, JAWS sounds weird compared to the sound of VoiceOver on macOS and my other pc. Also I've being having issues when I suspend my mac using windows most of the times, when I wake the macbook up, nothing is heard through the speakers or headphones, and the only way to solve the problem is to restart.
Also I have other problems with sounds in more specific programs like some games when using the same game in my macbook, the game in windows sounds much lower than in my other pc, and the volume of sounds vary from a second to another.
I think something is not very compatible between windows sound drivers and macbook hardware.
Anyone having these issues, and a solution for them?
Thanks in advance.

Trying a different soundcard
Hello Karina,
have you tried to hook up a simple USB soundcard to the MAC while running Windows? This would track down the issue to either the audio driver or some other blocking process on Windows. I've seen the latter when working with a VM on my mac. Even though the path is definitely different it is sometimes the case that windows processes cause stuttering sounds.

re: Windows Audio Issues with Bootcamp
Hi!
Use PC for windows not mac.
Moreover, Pc is not so expensive than mac.
Cheers!
I will try it
Hi Roland, thanks for the suggestion.
I haven't done it, but I will try to see what happens.
Kind regards.
Hi!
Hi again dear Karina!
You can try steinber sound cards.
But it would be better to have a simple pc machine.
It is your choice, certainly. <smile>
Cheers.
I agree but...
Hi Zeirus; I highly agree with you that it is easier to have a windows machine, in fact I do. After I bought this MacBook Air on 2019, I realized that I couldn't get rid of my pc because macOS wouldn't fulfill my needs for my job and that I will have to keep working on a pc.
The thing is that sometimes it is better to use macOS for some things, and others of course windows and it is better just to have both of them in one machine to get around with it.
So after saying all of this, that is why I'm trying to fix some of my main issues with bootcamp.
Thanks and kind regards.
Smile smile but
Hi again, dear Karina!
As I know, the future mac machines won't be supporting windows.
It is because of the processing unit architecture.
Or apple tries to limit the windows setup on mac machines.
Maybe I am wrong.
Be happy! smile
Cheers!
y9rb are had right
Bootcamp is not supported on M1 Macs. if you want Windows on them, your only option is to use a virtual machine through VMWare Fusion, and parallels might work as well, not sure if that works but fusion should be fine I believe.
