Siri and iOS 15

After I updated to iOS 15 using an iPhone SE second edition, I found that Siri doesn’t seem to respond when the iPhone is totally asleep. When I say hey Siri, The phone will wake up and read me the time. For example, I would say hey Siri turn off do not disturb. It wouldn’t answer, and I would get the response that I just wrote about. Actually, that time, Siri just beeped, is it it was finished listening to me. I hope that makes sense. Has anybody else had issues like this?

I can tell you, I run iOS 14.8, I won’t update until they get some of these bugs straightened out. I may not understand the process, but I don’t understand why they release software that’s not really ready at least for voiceover users, :-) I started with iOS 4 and I can remember most of the time until about iOS 8 there were never any problems updating hmm anyway food for thought

Another siri bug I noticed with iOS 15 is when I ask siri to open an app it will then ask for example do you want to open dice world or dice world and I have to say the app again. Anybody experience this? I have an SE 2nd generation.

While I don't use siri much, I did notice these bugs. I hope they fix the bugs with ios 15 soon because some of them are pritty annoying..

Well, I found that in iOS 15, you cannot listen to your voicemail using a Siri command like you used to be able to do in iOS 14. Apple reports the engineers are working on the problem. And you cannot turn off Siri offline either, more's the pity.

Why is not beeing able to turn siri offline a bad thing though? You could just not use siri if you don't like offline mode, I personally do but... oh well.

I just asked her to open news, did it, I asked her to open message and siri said There is no new message. Did open weather gods without no issues. Not consistent.

You need to say open messages, because that's what the app is called.

I guess message means individual messages in this case.

It is a bit hit and miss.

I'm not sure if there is a difference visually, but if you go to accessibility settings, Siri, then turn off show apps behind Siri.

It's suppose to put Siri back to full screen.

If Voiceover is on, you can still see the apps on the screen, even when that setting is turned off.

Hello Curtis Chong: Yes. Siri will no longer read your voice mail messages. I had heard this from others. So I said, "Read my voice mail." AndSiri says, "I can't help with that but you can ask me to open the Phone App."

Hi. I'm glad I'm not the only one experiencing the bug with Siri and voicemail. A little annoying to say the least.

Yes siri does not read them. I just ask siri and got same message than everybody.
