Hello all my friends:
Before going to apple care, i bought my Iphone 12 mini from 9 month, and my battery maximum capasity is 88% inside the battery hhealth, is it regular? or i should go to apple care?
The most annoying thing that happened yesteryda, is my phone went down after receiving a call, and my battery charge was more than 50%, it took a long time to open after that.
do not know what is htis.
so, just need your suggestions please.
Thanks in advance

No issues
Is not I had my 12 pro will be a year. Is how you charge your phone and what steps you take to save battery. I was in a rehabilitation for a broken leg and had to charge my phone in strange hours and that affected my phone. It is also 89 but it still works well. When it gets to 80 is time to get a new battery. If you have apple care take advantage of it. They might give you a new phone or change the battery for you.
My own numbers
For comparison, my heavily used iPhone 12 Pro's battery health is 90%.
Strangely, the iPhone XS Pro Max that was my daily driver for two years before getting the iPhone 12, reports its battery health as 96%.
There are likely many factors which determine how quickly battery health drops, most notably whether you utilise the battery saving features of iOS and how you charge your device (whether it's wired or wireless, and if you allow your battery level to mostly discharge before charing or top up the charge level frequently over the day).
so difficult to charge at certain taime each day
I wish, that i can this, but this is very difficult, specially that i do not have certain times for my work
did not allow my phone to tern off, is it right?
I read that i should charge my battery when it be below 20%, and it is not recommended to reach 100%, is this right?
can we find a place to read the most helpful tricks to save our batteries?
I think that am a very heavy user, and i do not have another machine to depend on, so, my iphone perform all my tasks.
If you charge at night and turn on optimize battery in setting
If you turn it on, it will charge to 80 and later 100. I have my phone to do not disturb from 1030 PM to 5:00 AM. when it get close to 5:00 AM it will complete charging it.
actually it's between 40 and…
actually it's between 40 and 80 percent now. so don't let yoru battery drop below 40 but don't charge above 80
I think it has to be lower before replacement is recommended.
A year seems awful fast for the battery to get that bad, but it was near that point on my iPhone 8. I'd definitely talk to apple and do what I could to get it replaced under warranty. I ended up getting a local hole in the wall place to replace mine out of warranty. I'd much rather get it done by Apple under warranty, that way if anything else gets messed up it is their baby.
Same issue with iPhone 12 Pro
I've had this phone for almost a year, and my battery health is at 90 percent. My last phone was the XS Max, and its battery health stayed at 100 percent for the first year, then stayed at 99 for another several months. I didn't change anything about how I charge my phone, or how often. I can only assume that either I have a faulty battery, or the batteries in the 12 series weren't improved and just aren't as strong as they need to be.
I have the 12 for eight…
I have the 12 for eight months and the battery is at 98%. I can get good full two days of battery without having to charge. However I have to say that I’m not I have a user.
Do u have another phone?
I'm not a heavy user also concerning phone calls, but my phone is after my computer, so,i use it in all my life bases.
not all my days are the same
I do not think tha i can do this, cause sometimes i can sleep at 12 and sometimes, i sleep at 3 A.M. so, is there a solution?
40!! are you sure?
I got chocked, because 40%is very high, are you sure?
so, can apple change this phone for me?
IS it possible to do that?
91% Capacity on 12 Pro Max After 10 Months
My iPhone 12 Pro Max has 91% maximum capacity after a little over 10 months of use. Interestingly, after I erased the phone and restored it from a backup (for another reason), it just happened that my battery maximum capacity dropped from 92% before the restore to 91% after. Coming from older devices (an XS Max and an 11 Pro Max) where the maximum capacity barely dropped at all over the year-or-so that I used each device, this is certainly a departure and a bit disappointing for me. Practically, I haven't noticed any decreases in day-to-day performance, but I am nevertheless a little disappointed given past experience.
89% Capacity on iPhone 12 Mini
Like others I see quite a bit less capacity on this 12 Mini than on previous phones. I just turned on an iPhone SE 2020 that I used for approximately 10 months before switching to the 12 mini for the past 6. The SE 2020 is still at 97% health. I wonder if the new phones have better health sensor calculation? Otherwise, assuming the same algorithms it is disappointing to me. I was wondering if I just had a lemon so this discussion has been informative. And I am wondering if I can really expect it to last another year. I am leaning towards using Apple's trade-in program since I don't carry Apple Care, even though otherwise the upgrades seem marginal.
