Braille does not seem to work as it has been in the previous version. I get frequent disconnections and it is impossible reconnect unless I restart or unpair. Although the braille display connections show the device is connected.
Any idea how to solve this problem? Is anyone going through this?

Specifics
Hi, There are lots of Braille displays, etc. Can you provide more specifics when discussing Braille issues such as what display please?
Same issue
I use myQBraille xl and the display reconnects really often, especially when typing. When typing this message, it disconnected 3 times. Also today I encountered that the the display was connected, but stopped showing the information on it. The restart of the display helped. So you are not alone! I continue to use braille screen input for typing.
Using Orbit Reader 40
I am using my orbit display with no issues like are being discussed here. I used it to respond to this post and it did not disconnect once. Maybe it is an issue with Hymns displays.
Other Bluetooth devices connected?
To those having issues with braille display connectivity, do you have other devices connected via Bluetooth when this happens? If yes, if you unpair the other devices, does the problem persist? I am wondering specifically about MFi accessories, as I'm finding no issues but also do not have any MFi connected devices. Someone I know said that they did not have a problem with Bluetooth headphones connected, but when using MFi hearing aids, this behavior was happening with a Brailliant. I'm trying to get to the bottom of this so that I can duplicate it and report it as well.
I can use all my bluetooth…
I can use all my bluetooth devices at the same time of attempting to conect to my braille display. My display is the Focus 40 and this is on the iPad Pro runningthe latest OS
Braille display
I have been able to replicate the described issue above using older braille displays, such as the Brailliant Bi 40, Focus Blue 40 (the one without multiple device support and scratchpad), and terminal mode using a BrailleNote Touch Plus. Newer displays with better bluetooth connections pair to multiple devices without issues (though you cannot switch between devices). I haven't gotten my hands on one of those displays yet, unfortunately! These displays include my Orbit Reader 20 and Braille Edge 40.
As long as you don't re-pair the Focus to another device, you can try turning on the Focus and then unlocking your iPad Pro to see if it will pair. You will need to wait 10 seconds before the Focus pairs if this ridiculous method works for you. This is what I do to re-establish a connection with my iPad. I honestly just unpair the display if I know I'll be using it with my phone for extended periods of time to save myself some frustration. Good luck and hope this helps!
Braille display
I don't have any braille display.
And I didn't upgrade my iPad and my iPhone yet.
So I don't have any problems.
Though I don't have a better accessibility for garage band.
I wanted to upgrade because of garage band.
Then I decided to have my 14 iPadOs and iOs.
If i had any braille I would simply read books, especially music notations.
That was my opinion.
Cheers!
Is your braille display staying connected if you do not use any
If you do not use other things that connect through Bluetooth, does the connection between your iPad and braille display become more stable? It seems tied into 3rd party MFi compatible devices like hearing aids, but I'm still trying to get to the bottom of it. I don't have the ability to test with speech, so it's not something I have encountered here.
