Hi,
As I'm sure quite a few people know, the Telegram apps for macOS are not accessible. Are there any good alternatives? I tried Nicegram, but it had some weird issues with scrolling and switching chats.
Thanks.
It works well. You could have 2 issues that have a workaround:
Going to the chat list: when you press return to the chat list to go to the list the focus doesn't move to the list and, when you touch something, the list disappears. You have to touch in the left part of the trackpad to move to some chat and then you can navigate the list normally. It also works when you open the web because the list is shown by default.
Move to the first unread message: when you press in a chat of the list the focus doesn't move to the first unread message. Sometimes it moves to the edit box, sometimes not. You can either touch the down right part of the trackpad to move to the first unread message or go to the first of the page, hit vo+F and write unread.
From what Iv'e seen, the Telegram web app is extremely broken, at least with VoiceOver. Which sucks, because I used to use it just fine a few years ago
There are two main telegram web clients, telegram webk and telegram webz. At the moment web.telegram.org is telegram webk which's broken with VO, but telegram webz works well except for the issues previously mentioned and we can deal with them.
That's totally my bad, I didn't read it character by character, so heard "webs", and just assumed it was a language barrier. My bad. How do I access webz?
I clicked the link, sorry I missed it before, but it brought me to what looked like the generic telegram web app. I can't access groups, opening chats doesn't. work properly, etc
