This may be a long shot but is there an easier way to do a soft reboot with the newer phones? I have an IPhone8. I don't think my cordination is good enough for the regular way to do it like holding the power button and then pressing the volume up and down buttons quickly as it takes me several tries to do this. I can't be the only one having this issue. Will just simply turning off the phone and then back on again give the same result? Can I also preform this action as well on a bluetooth keybord?

Soft Reboot, iPhone 8
I found the following at this link:
https://www.macrumors.com/how-to/force-restart-or-hard-reset-iphone-8-and-8-plus/
How to Force Restart (Hard Reset) iPhone 8
First, you need to press and quickly release the Volume Up button. Then, press and quickly release the Volume Down button. Finally, press and hold the Side button (aka power) until you see the Apple logo.
Powering off regularly still requires holding down the Side button for a few seconds until the "slide to power off" prompt appears.
Note that for the iPhone 8, you do not need to hold the power button and then press the volume up and down buttons quickly to power off. Simply hold down the side button until the Power Off dialog appears.
Assistive Touch
Create an Assistive Touch gesture using a single tap action on the menu icon. Select restart as the action. Double tap this icon with VoiceOver and you'll be asked if you're sure you want to restart. I made a podcast demonstrating this a long time ago, here's the link.

Thanks for this info. I did…
Thanks for this info. I did have trouble finding the shortcut, apparently it's not one you can find by swiping but I found it. I got kind of irritated because when I searched for posts on here with people having issues finding this shortcut themselves the replies asked them to look for the white dot. That is irrelavent to a totally blind person.
