Hello,
I recently started a podcast, & published my very first episode today!
However, it needs some editing.
I’ve heard great things about Ferrite Recording Studio, & have it on my iPhone & iPad.
My plan is to use that app on mobile, & Reaper on the Mac & pc for all my editing needs.
The thing is, I edited something in Ferrite a while ago, but can’t remember how I did it.
The edits I need to make to my podcast, are very precise. Can ferrite recording studio handle that?
If so, how would I, as a voiceover user, accomplish this task?
I learn best with clear, step-by-step directions.

Need more information
Are you trying to edit several elements of a recording? Are you trying to cut certain parts out of the recording? Let me know so I can give the correct information
Yes
Hello,
Yes, basically what happened, is that Voiceover talked overtop of me a few times, and I need to take that out, without cutting myself off, in the process.
the episode currently has 3 segments:
• a very pretty little sound at the very beginning
• my intro
• the topic, and closing remarks
I had to do it that way, because of where voiceover interrupted me. If permitted, I can put the rss link here so you can subscribe.
I think it'd really help you understand what I'm working with, if you heard it.
Use Voiceover rotor
Find the recording you want, swipe up or down with one finger until you find edit, double tap edit, choose from how you want to edit, you can edit in millisecond increments, edit from the beginning, starting point and ending point, or the middle, to edit more precisely, use the voiceover rotor to swipe up and down, when you find the correct position, play the recording first and locate the done button to save it
How do I take something out?
Hi,
I did that, but still can’t figure out how to take something out.
I saw a podcast on here, about editing in Ferrite, but it went way to fast.
