I noticed there is no keyboard command for a double tap and hold toggle. On some buttons like the record button in messages, and whatsapp, you have to double tap, hold, record the message, take your finger off the touch screen. But there is no way to do this with keyboards like orbit reader20 display or, orbit writer. So could all of you write to apple accessibility and request a double tap and hold toggle for keyboards? This may be useful for students who need to record for some reason and want to keep their hands on whatever keyboard they are using.

Missing keyboard shortcut for double tap and hold on iOS
I agree with Josh. Keyboards like the Rivo can do this but it would be nice if all keyboards could do this.
Agree
I agree I’ve been wondering this fore a while since using a Bluetooth keyboard with my iPhone particularly with sending voice messages on WhatsApp.
press and hold with bluetooth qwerty keyboards
ok so to press and hold with normal bluetooth keyboards, press and hold down control option shift spacebar, continue to hold while recording, then let up on all keys. this does not work on orbit keyboards currently. I wish it did, not sure about focus and other displays.
