Hi all, I could really use your help. So I erased my mac, and now when I'm trying to restart it, but it's got a big Questionmark on the screen. I researched it, and the startup disk is damaged. I can't even turn on Voiceover. Does anyone know how to fix this without Voiceover?

Which mac?
Hi,
As the M1 machines differ from Intel-based machines, which Mac do you have?
Internet Recovery
For an Intel-based Mac, you should be able to start up in macOS Recovery over the Internet by holding down Command-Option-R as the Mac starts. Once started, you should be able to repair the disk with Disk Utility and then install a new copy of macOS as you would in the local recovery partition.

Create madcOS bootable installer
What I recommend you doing is creating a macOS bootable installer using another Mac that you might have and a US B flashdrive.

My main issue is that I can't connect to the internet as I don't have Voiceover. Is there a way to search for a network by entering the name in?
Try
I believe going to normal recovery with cmd r might work?
Ethernet would be the best option
You could also start the internet recovery mode by using an ethernet cable. If your Mac doesn't have a port for that, you can buy an adapter either directly from Apple or somewhere else. Such adapters cost around 20 - 30 USD I think. I recently bought such an adapter and I paid 20 €. You can then connect your Mac via an ethernet cable to your router or a network switch.
