How do you keep productive with Google calendar
Do use the goals feature
Does anyone time block
Would be grateful to hear about anyone’s calendar habits on the iOS app
I recently used google calendar to plan my day. I know what events I have etc for my job. I don't time block, didn't know I could do that, but it works.
FOr me, it is better than our default one, very accessible, very clear, it has all things that i need to know, even better than any third party alternatives.
the only thing is that i can not use it with siri, but i can , it will be more than perfect.
I use Google Calendar. It's extremely accessible and works on multiple platforms. It's easy to use and I'll use block time for events or conferences I attend. It's customizable such as placing a certain color for my music lessons and scheduling a reoccuring event can be customized too. For me Google Calendar is great and a tool in my toolbox!
Definitely better than the apple calendar. I mostly just use events to keep track of my schedule, and I think it's better than apple calendar, it's easier to navigate and use, because you don't have to navigate every single hour of the day always, when scrolling, I use the schedule view and it just shows the dates and if it has a event in it it shows up next to the day. Sometime I've noticed that when I exit Google Calendar it go to some random month, and so when I come in again I have to click the go to today button, and I have to press it two or three times before it actually does anything. There's a Add button close to the top and also at the bottom, so if I'm scrolling through the days and need to make an event I just go to the bottom, and focus lands me right on the Add button. on the apple calendar, if you did this, it would freeze for about five seconds and then land you in something like 2539 last I checked. Also, clicking on a day in Google Calendar to add an event doesn't work, no matter what view I'm in. If I try VO only announces ”switched to day view" and jumps me to the top. One more thing, in my experience the month selecting slider doesn't work with VoiceOver.
