Trying out Bootcamp, again

Hi:

So I'm on the latest beta version of MacOS Ventura. My Dedicated windows box is. a 4-gb nightmare that I can't replace right now for financial reasons. So I'm trying to set up a Bootcamp partition on my Intel Mac; while I prefer using the Mac OS, a sad fact is that most games aren't developed for Mac, and the Steam client is, as far as I know, still inaccessible on Mac. Unfortunately, the Bootcamp resizing partition still seems inaccessible trying to resize the partition just gies a "no action"warning when pressed with with VO space. Has anyone succeeded in using Bootcamp recently, and if so, how?
