Hi, So I thought I'd install iOS 17 so you dop't have to, and here are some early voiceover bugs-
1. Unable to double-tap on items when a text field is open and your keyboard is set to direct touch typing.
Solution- Either change typing method or use the split tap.
2. When scrolling through a list of items quickly, voiceover will begin confusing its words and mixing them together.
Solution is unknown as of now.
3. When using braille screen input, voiceover may stop responding when you exit and then re-enter BSI
Solution- Exit BSI and move your curser up a letter then back down, it should then begin responding when you go back to BSI.
These are the main bugs I've had so far with VO, but be sure to let me know what you find if you decide to install.
Please note- iOS 17 is early beta software and will likely be very unstable and I don’t recommend you using it on your main device

Apple Beta Releases
Your Feedback is Important to Improving Accessibility on Apple platforms
Don't assume that Apple is aware of a bug or that your report won't make a difference - submitting bug reports directly to the company helps them reproduce and resolve the issue faster. Your report may provide crucial information. The more reports they receive, the higher the priority they give to fixing the bug.
If you're using a beta version, use the Feedback Assistant on your device to submit feedback and bug reports. If you're using a public release, follow the instructions on this page.

no other bugs
I've not found any other bugs other than the ones you mentioned.
Let's hope the final versions of iOS 17 are the same (very few in any VoiceOver bugs). This would hopefully make iOS 17 as stable as iOS 15.
very impressed so far
I'm very impressed so far. I think the AppleVis accessibility report had a difference already.
iPhone two more bugs
In control centre VoiceOver focus is not moving to the volume control, brightness control and AirPlay button.
While using eloquence as TTS every year noise is coming out of the speaker after reading the focused item.
This is not happening with the Siri US voice.
And also one more bug regarding to the screen dim. When I using the screen dim option after sometime though not reading anything on the screen.
I observed this mostly in YouTube
Sirs voice not responding after a while
Hi,
When i use voice 4 on my phone, after a while the voice will stop responding, and i have to press the accessibility shortcut three times in order to get it working again. I am using an iPhone 14 pro max. i haven't tried yet on an iPad Pro but will do so today.
Please state Feedback ID when mentioning bug reports
Hey all!
I wanted to suggest something that could potentially be of benefit. When discussing bugs that have been reported through Apple's Feedback Assistant, it would be great if you could state the Feedback ID.
While I can't claim that members of Apple's Accessibility Team will necessarily be reading all the comments posted here, including the Feedback ID will be helpful if they do read about a bug and want to investigate it further. By providing the Feedback ID, we can make it easier for them to track down the specific bug report quickly.
By adopting this approach, we can potentially increase the likelihood of bugs being addressed promptly.
How's braille going
Thanks everyone for your hard work testing. Nobody's mentioned braille bugs on either this thread or the other one. Anyone spotted any? I'm afraid I have too much on professionally to be able to beta test, plus I only have one iPhone and will lose access to my corporate data if I beta test on that, otherwise i would gladly test how braille goes myself. In the future I certainly will be able to.
Control Center and volume control
Strangely, the volume control is focusable when swiping down and double-tap to invoke the expanded view of now playing in Control Center. I'm not sure whether this is actually a bug or if it's an intended behavior. The volume control is missing in the notification Center since iOS 16 has been introduced, maybe this expanded to Control Center with iOS 17.
